Winky Guard

This is one of my more recent paintings. I wanted to do a painting representing "Water in the Desert." While I was searching for inspiration, a coworker showed me some youtube videos of American soldiers fighting in Iraq. The video that caught my attention was of a man who was sitting in a tank discussing his thoughts on his time in Iraq. The details are blurred to me now, but I remember him mentioning how many people he has had to kill and things had to do. And then someone asks how old he is. He was only 18.

Looking back at my life, I realize how pampered and lackadaisical I was at that age. What was my biggest concern? Going off to college? Where the next party was?

Then I found a picture on Yahoo titled, "water in the desert." Synchronicity or inspiration.

When that picture was taken, there was a major push to find images of American soldiers as saviors and liberators.
An offered glass of water.
But there are also handcuffs and guns.

So there was my take on things... Ozified of course.

Love this crazy crap! I love it when people ruin things that many people hold sacred. Check out the rest of the website. This is really kind of an underground movement. It seems to me that the face of music is changing and shifting into a new phase of originality and creation. The hover culture is just beginning. I wonder what the next 100 years will bring. If the world doesn't end in 2012 of course. We'll see.

Can I get rid of Rust?

Rust is one of the most dangerous stains which can't be removed easily. When rust occurs most of the people simply just clean it in normal casual way and they always think that when the rust comes out they will take care of it again. This process continues till the substance gets damaged completely.

Here some tips are given to handle the rust and how to use the rust products for rust treatment for metal.

Why it is required to remove the rust as soon as possible?

The primary reason is rust spread very fast and it exposes the deeper part of the substance body. You should always take care of the rust or rust strains. Never neglect them.

The amount of rust form can never be rescued. So it is an irreversible process. The only thing you do is remove the rust from the body and clean the surface properly.

Rust is not so dangerous at the beginning. If you take care of it from the start of its occurrence then it can be easily removed.

Rust stains are slightly less dangerous than the rust. Rust stains can be removed if actions are taken earlier.

In old days when there were no proper rust products then people have to spend lots of time in it. At that time people at first remove the dust from the carpet area. Then they apply lemon juice directly into the affected area or apply with the help of towel. It will take around 5 mins. Then clean the surface with towel to remove the juice. Often they use the dishwashing detergent to remove the stain. Then use the toothbrush to scrub the surface. Finally rinse off properly.

This method use to take lot of time but now a days people don't have such time to spend on rust. For these reason various rust products are available in the market. You will always require a good rust spotter to take proper care. You can avail this spotter from the distributor and also get some spotting towels. It is always recommended that you use gloves while using the chemicals. Your skin can be prone to allergies from the chemicals. There are various rust spotters available in the market of which the gel format is the best one. The gel will sit on the rust affected area instead of spreading all over the carpet.

If you are using the gel format then directly apply the cleaner on the spot else take small amount of the rust remover in the spotting towel and apply it in the carpet. Keep it in this position for few seconds and then clean it up. If required then repeat the same process for few more times. Finally rinse the spot with your normal cleaning process and the thus the rust removal process is complete.

Usually rust removal chemicals are very strong so be careful about it. Always keep children away from the product. Also don't use this product over glass or marble as they can etch the glass or marble surface.

Goodbye gasoline.

Never thought that electric cars could boogie like a gas engine. But darn if they didn't go ahead and do it. Of course this car has to charge for twenty minutes for each race, but how long will it be before it only takes 10, 5 or less than a minute per charge? When that happens, maybe we can have a car that will hold a charge for more than a day.
